For more than 20 years, CMPC has forged an important presence in North America, due to the quality of its products, long term relationship with customers and the partnership with the North American company International Forest Products (IFP) that has been fundamental in CMPC´s trajectory and growth in the region. IFP is part of The Kraft Group, founded in 1972, which has a diversified portfolio of businesses in various industries.
To continue this successful path of growth and to deliver the best possible experience to our customers, we took a significant step forward to strengthen our position internationally by creating a new venture with IFP named CMPC Forest Products North America (CMPC FP). Through this new way to address the North American market, we hope to be closer to our customers, understand their needs, and offer tailored solutions.
CMPC Forest Products North America (CMPC FP) will focus on the commercialization, sales, and distribution of CMPC products: pulp, boxboard, and sack kraft bags. It will also distribute CMPC wood products in the North American market, while wood product sales will continue to be being handled by the CMPC USA team.
